The 2025 Club Championship finals brought out determination, grit and some truly brilliant golf, all under a hot Fremantle sun.
From clutch putts to fairway battles, the competition was fierce across every division. The Women’s A Grade pushed all the way to the 20th hole, while the Men’s A Grade fought on to the 24th, a true testament to the skill and spirit of our finalists.

✨ A truly significant milestone for Royal Fremantle. Last week we celebrated the grand opening of our new Course Maintenance Facility, a project years in the making and a world of difference from the old shed.
Thank you to all who attended, including a special acknowledgment to Mayor of Fremantle, Ben Lawver, cutting the ceremonial ribbon alongside our Course Team, officially opening the facility and marking this important chapter in the Club’s history. We are grateful for his support and presence on the day.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to member Steve Taddei and Mecon Construction, for his expertise and commitment throughout the project. His guidance has been instrumental in delivering a facility that supports excellence in course management and long-term sustainability.
And a shout-out to local artist @annabelledenniss , whose mural has brought warmth, colour and Fremantle charm to the new space.
A proud moment for the Club and a strong investment in our future.

We had a special visitor at the Club yesterday, former England cricket star Gladstone Small!
A fan favourite from the 1986-87 Ashes and a brilliant storyteller, Gladstone brought plenty charm and good humour to Royal Fremantle.
Always a treat when sporting greats stop by, welcome Gladstone!
From junior prodigy to one of Royal Fremantle’s most decorated women players, Sarah Terrell continues to add to her remarkable golfing story.
A former Club Champion (1995), long-standing Division 1 pennant player, and multi-time tournament winner, Sarah was named WA Junior Golfer of the Year in 1994, represented WA in 1996, and helped Australia secure the 1995 Junior Tasman Cup — a moment she still treasures:
“Representing Australia in the Tasman Cup was a real highlight… it was close, but we got the win, and it’s something I still look back on with great pride.”
Her recent form is just as impressive, adding the Anniversary Cup (2022 & 2025), three straight Club Foursomes titles with Jaks Scott (2023–2025), and now the Australian Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship in South Australia to her list of achievements.
A true Royal Fremantle standout — past, present, and proudly continuing her legacy.
