SUMMARY
The purpose of the Junior Academy is to introduce kids of all ages and abilities to golf, teaching them the fundamentals of the game in a safe and supportive environment, nurturing their development into Junior Members of the club.
Aligning with our mission statement, we have taken a holistic approach to our Academy Classes. Students will learn the rudimentary skills through our 12 subjects, 6 rank curriculum, which includes rules, etiquette, fitness, nutrition, testing and real on-course experience. Once all subjects have been passed they will graduate to the next rank and work to complete the next level. After passing Rank 4 Performance (On-Course subject) they are ready to become Members and have the ability to gain a handicap.
Students will have the opportunity to work in a group learning environment, meeting new friends to join their journey as a golfer.
