Royal Fremantle Amateur Open – Event Recap

The 2025 Royal Fremantle Amateur Open, proudly sponsored by ADH Golf & Utility Vehicles, once again showcased why it is the Club’s most prestigious open tournament.

With a field showcasing some of the best amateur golfers in Western Australia and two days of beautiful weather, the event delivered first-class golf and a thrilling finale. After 36 holes, Royal Fremantle’s Mitch Boorn and Joondalup Country Club’s Amy Phobubpa could not be separated, taking the contest to a nail-biting play-off. In front of an eager crowd, Mitch secured the victory on the second extra hole, claiming the prestigious title on his home course. Well done Mitch!
