Celebrating Commitment and Community: Membership Recognition Afternoon
Published on 5th June 2025Our annual Membership Recognition Afternoon is a heartfelt celebration of the members who make our Club the welcoming and vibrant community it is. This special event acknowledges the generous contributions of our volunteers over the past year, and recognises members who have reached remarkable milestones of 60, 50, 40 and 30 years of continuous membership.
We were delighted to welcome over 120 members and guests to the occasion, where light refreshments were enjoyed before a presentation of commemorative milestone bag tags — a small token of our immense appreciation.
One of the most notable volunteer efforts this year was the Webex Players Series, where roughly 100 volunteers filled over 300 shifts across four days. This incredible effort played a vital role in delivering a first-class event. To everyone who lent their time, energy, and passion – thank you. Your involvement not only ensured the success of the tournament, but also showcased the strength of our community spirit. We hope it was as rewarding for you as it was impactful for the Club.
We are truly grateful for the ongoing support of our members and encourage anyone who would like to become more involved to consider volunteering. Whether it’s lending a hand at a major event or assisting with Club initiatives throughout the year, your contribution makes a real difference.
