Members and Guests must maintain a high standard of dress at all times. Attire should be commensurate with that expected of a prestigious private golf club. The General Manager maintains the flexibility to alter these rules for special occasions.
Members inviting Guests to the Club are responsible to ensure that Guests are informed of and adhere to these regulations. Other Guests and those participating in Corporate events will be advised of the dress requirements by the General Manager or his staff and are expected to comply.
Anyone not properly attired will be asked to change or will not be permitted to remain on the course or in the Clubhouse.
Players are expected to be suitably dressed for golf in a collared or turtleneck shirt, tucked inside tailored slacks or shorts that are worn with a belt. Tailored shorts, worn not below the knee, may have external pockets and must be worn with long walk socks or short white socks above ankle height (plain white, predominantly white with a recognised golf club or manufacturer's logo). All players must wear non-metal spike golf shoes. Hats, caps or visors may be worn: cap peak to the front.
Golf attire is permitted in the Clubhouse before and after participating in golf other than in the Dining Room, or in the Lounge after 4.00pm on Saturdays. However, golf shoes are permitted only in designated areas and they are not permitted in any area of the lounge/bar following afternoon Club conducted competitions when dress shoes must be worn. Smart casual attire, which is to consist of a tailored shirt, either long sleeved worn buttoned at the wrist or with the cuffs neatly folded so the sleeve is no shorter than midway between the elbow and the wrist, or short sleeve, tucked in at the waist and worn with belted tailored long trousers, is acceptable at all times. A tailored jacket (not bomber style) may be worn with casual attire as an option and knitwear may be worn under the jacket, if required.
